Strangest dream sequence this morning.

Started at an end of year house party, seemed to be set at the end of my second year of Uni - was being hit on by a tutor's son, the head honcho of Uni approved, but I was involved with the tutor - and he was laughing at my reaction to all the attention.

Driver and new boss are away this week. Dying. Too much to do, nowhere near enough time. 12hr days for two of us are gonna kill us - I'm mentally exhausted, he's physically drained.

What a mental week. So much drama with the boys, the new boss taking charge from the outset and laying down the law... Still lots to do, but we'll get there.

Back gave out last weekend - still causing me grief, but at least this weekend I've managed to catch up on some much needed sleep!

So the company I work for has been sold. We all keep our jobs - yippee!! And the new owner seems like a pretty on to it bloke.

Work is changing. Have heard there's a big announcement coming up... Hoping its as I've heard it.

It's been a trying week. Things I have learned:

I will never have children. Teenagers are evil.
I really do not like dogs.
I should trust my instincts when it comes to my car.
Exercise is good for me - mentally and physically.
Pizza is still the cure to all problems.
There is nowhere more comfortable than my own bed.

Sleepy time :)

Received my treadmill on Friday. It took 4hrs to move it from the kitchen, to the lounge, and assembled. I love it :) it's an absolute tank of a machine, have used it twice this weekend and plan on using it every day for at least 30mins :)

We've managed to use the slow cooker quite a lot this week - lots of good, healthy and quality winter meals :) ( Read more... )

Two cans of V seemed to motivate me enough to get everything done :) 2hrs of chillaxing :)

So I thought I'd gotten over the flu that hit me a couple of weeks ago. Seems I was wrong - today is all about the blocked up face and an extreme desire to sleep.

Going grocery shopping after work for another week's worth of crock pot ingredients - making sweet and sour pork this week, excited!!

Momma and I don't usually eat too well - we're both too busy and tired to cook.

Have been thinking of doing the crockpot thing for a long time, and when Momma brought it up yesterday, we decided there's no time like the present! Handily, Momma paid for half the ingredients - meat is expensive!
